Description

We are looking for Management Analyst / Project Managers at various client locations for upcoming opportunities. 

Individuals in this role will work collaboratively with the government Program Manager and support team.  This position includes a range of support responsibilities focused on ensuring all project-level deliverables meet quality and schedule requirements. Generally, these responsibilities include project management; financial management; quality assurance; knowledge management; acquisition life-cycle support; and supporting the government PM with the completion of recurring and pop-up tasks throughout lifecycle of the government programs supported.
 
This role requires knowledge and understanding of the how the federal government and agencies within the make data driven and policy compliant investment decisions, and how these investments are implemented and managed to ensure the desired and defined outcomes are achieved.


What You'll Do:
 

  • The role requires excellent communication and teamwork skills, ability to support the government Program Manager and the program as a whole, without losing sight of detail, and ability keep track of formal and informal taskers and deliver necessary advisory and assistance services in support of multiple, competing priorities.
  • Work collaboratively with subject matter experts, end users, decision makers, and stakeholders to collect data for analysis and synthesis as needed to support programmatic decisions and action planning.
  • Work collaboratively with appropriate SMEs and stakeholders to develop program and project level plans suitable for defining and managing required actions
  • Provide project-based support including effective management of cost, schedule and performance requirements related to assigned projects
  • Support government counterparts in defining technical requirements, formulating end states and plans to reach them, and defining project success factors while applying best project management practices and consistent, systematic processes.
  • Develop and coordinate Procurement packages consistent with agency acquisition process guides, as needed to support mission requirements.
  • Provides advisory and assistant services with regards to linking program plans and objectives to agency strategies, national strategies, consistent with agency and local policies.
  • Supports the client in drafting and finalizing various project and portfolio documents, analyzes data, and conducts research pertinent to ongoing and planned engagements.
  • Supports government counterparts in utilizing Program Management Reviews (PMRs) and technical reviews as tools to manage portfolio of projects in the assigned organization, assists the client in review and documentation of project scope, schedule, budget status and forecast.
  • Supports government personnel in planning travel and fulfilling pre-travel requirements

 
Must Haves:  
 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Physical Sciences (e.g., Chemistry), or bachelor’s degree plus 24 hours in business-related classes.
  • 4-8 combined years of project management and systems engineering experience required.
  • Experienced using electronic media, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT, etc..
  • Excellent writing skills and be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Knowledge of federal policies, directives, and instructions related to management of capital investment programs, or projects/programs designated as major programs.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects which includes prioritizing, tracking, attention to detail, follow-up and follow-through to project completion


Nice to Haves:
 

  • Federal Agency Minimum Risk Public Trust (MRPT) or DoD Secret Clearance
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification from the Program Management Institute (or equivalent)
  • DAWIA Program Management Level II; DAWIA Engineering and Technical Management Level II; DAWIA Contracting Level II; DAWIA Business, Cost, and Financial Management Level II; or FAC-PM
