Overview

We are looking for a Solutions Architect / Senior IT Program Manager to lead an emerging IT Consulting Division to build and manage work with our Federal clients. The candidate must be someone interested in solving client challenges, helping capture and develop new business opportunities, providing clients with exceptional service, delivering meaningful mission outcomes. This candidate must also be adept at leveraging an extensive partner network and then demonstrate an ability to build and then lead high performing teams. Candidates must have held senior-level program management and/or director level positions with a consulting firm supporting the Federal Government. Candidates must also have proven skills in providing hands-on management and oversight support for complex enterprise IT and business transformation projects, as well as experience with leading and contributing to business and proposal development efforts. The individual in this role will also be expected to contribute to corporate initiatives and maintain an outstanding level of commitment to the company and its objectives. Responsibilities

  • Experience translating technology solutions into high quality, well written responses throughout business development, capture, and proposal development lifecycles. 
  • The ability to design Concept of Operations and System Models (i.e., logical and physical architecture) and translate to a narrative.
  • The ability to conceptualize graphics to convey key solution concepts, graphically depicting process, relationships, dependencies, technologies, benefits, features, and other concepts that tie solutions to problems.
  • Support program management and business development reviews and assist in improving technical performance on existing programs as required.
  • Identify new business opportunities and oversee new related project engagements.
  • Lead capture and proposal development efforts to include technical, management and pricing volumes.
  • Create white papers, proposals, and briefings demonstrating technical thought leadership in response to customer needs.
  • Develop and cultivate partner relationships.
  • Work with SSC Service Delivery Executives to weave technical solutions into new or existing work to provide our clients access to cutting edge and open source solutions.
  • Cultivate client advocacy by delivering deft client engagement expertise throughout the business lifecycle. 
  • Actively manage and supervise multiple programs/projects.
  • Provide strategic guidance and quality assurance support to project teams.
  • Ensure the success of the firm’s project engagements.
  • Support employee performance, development and retention.
  • Ability to obtain and retain a secret security clearance
  • Represent the company and its priorities effectively both internally and externally (to include business meetings, client meetings, conferences, etc.)
Required Qualifications 
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Management or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in one or more IT functional areas, complemented by significant involvement in competitive Federal proposals.
  • Proven ability to write, review, direct, and craft proposal sections regardless of the discipline, technology, or requirements of those sections
  • Expertise in software solutions including artificial intelligence, cloud deployments/migrations, and DevSecOps.
  • Expertise in capture and proposal management including competitive analysis, price to win, and business development.
  • 2+ years of federal IT program, project and portfolio management experience.
  • 6+ years of management experience.
  • Understanding of CMMC regulations and emerging technology risks and threats required.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills using analytical abilities and sound professional judgement. 
  • Ability to collaborate with all levels of management.
  • Strong leadership, people management, collaboration, influence and team building skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage change.
  • Ability to articulate technical strategy and issues to senior management.
  • Proven capabilities to recruit, build, and lead a great team.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and develop client requirements and critical success factors and negotiate large, complex solutions with the most senior levels at the client.
Desired Qualifications
  • Master’s Degree in Information Technology or a related field, highly desired.
  • CISSP Certification highly desired.
  • PMP Certification highly desired.
