Overview:
In anticipation of a contract award, we are seeking a Facility Management Administrator or Infrastructure Program Integrator (Mid). In this role, you will support a highly visible Defense Aviation Joint Program Office (JPO), responsible for managing a major defense weapon system development project. You will provide facility and infrastructure management support to ensure operational effectiveness and efficient use of space and resources in service of the F-35 JPO. Your job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Professional facility and infrastructure management support for the F-35 JPO
- Oversight of the efficient use of existing space and resources that coincides with the staffing footprint of the JPO
- Provides planning and analysis for the facilities needs of the JPO including: feasibility analysis, logistics analysis, cost analysis, and utilization analysis. Projects long-term facilities needs for the JPO based on the aforementioned analysis.
- Coordinates for large-scale off-site meetings as part of the planning and analysis efforts
- Provides operational support to the Team Lead for Infrastructure Services in its responsibility to assure operations/administration and facility management support services meet the strategic needs of the program
- Functions as the POC for all facility related issues internal and external to JPO
- Support includes F-35 JPO facilities and activities within the National Capitol Region
Required Qualifications:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Education requirements:
- Bachelors’ Degree in Business Management or related discipline
- OR related Associates degree and four (4) additional years of relevant work experience
- OR six (6) additional years of relevant work experience
- Minimum Experience:
- At least four (4) years’ experience in administration, administrative processes and infrastructure support operations
- At least one (1) year experience providing relevant support within a Defense headquarters office environment in the National Capitol Region (e.g., Pentagon office or Military Service Branch headquarters organization)
- Experience managing/coordinating facilities requirements in a private or government organization performing workforce and facility metrics, reporting, and analyses
- Familiarity with the federal continuity of operations (COOP requirements/procedures
- Strong analytical skills demonstrating the ability to define, collect and analyze data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and make logical recommendations
- Ability to manage and respond to competing priorities and work requirements in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Possesses a high degree of self-initiative, the ability to work independently and function as part of an interdisciplinary team, and the ability to communicate and negotiate with people at all levels
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Focus on customer service and responsiveness with sound customer handling skills
- Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience providing relevant support within a Defense acquisition program management office environment related to weapon systems acquisition and life cycle management
- F-35 Lightning II program knowledge and expertise
- Active Secret security clearance
