Seventh Sense Consulting is seeking a dynamic and driven Capture Manager (CM) to join our Corporate Development Organization. This is a junior to mid-level role suited for candidates with 2–5 years of experience in federal business development and capture, preferably within startup, small, or mid-sized professional services firms.

Responsibilities:
- Identify and shape prospective IT, PMO, and professional services contracts for qualification
- Strategize on win themes aligned with the customer’s critical needs
- Plan and participate in capture activities, to include black hat sessions and color team reviews
- Develop strategic account plans for targeted agencies.
- Develop sales and capture strategies working with internal personnel and partners to qualify and successfully develop a winning proposal bid.
- Develop a pipeline of new business opportunities for assigned accounts and lead the capture effort for qualified opportunities.
- Represent SSC at conferences and events
- Develop and execute capture plans for the pursuit and capture of key opportunities.
- Obtain market as well as competitive intelligence and develop solutions, teaming, and pricing strategies.
- Participate in bid decisions, develop and present the opportunities at phase/gate reviews for approval.
- Lead the development and evaluation of technical content and contractual compliance of proposals.
- Partner with operations to develop winning strategies.
- Participate in the proposal process and provide recommendations for improvement of quality/content.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably in business, communications, English, or a related field)
- Experience developing or contributing to pipeline strategies and capture plans
- Demonstrated success supporting or leading capture efforts resulting in contract awards
- Experience leading teams in a virtual environment; ability to work through others, and get results from teams that do not report directly to you
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; background in English, journalism, marketing, or communications is highly valued
- Strong verbal communications and prior experience briefing executives
- Experience developing account and capture plans.
- In-depth knowledge of traditional industry capture and proposal process
- Understanding of public sector procurement and business development processes.
- Requires a thorough knowledge of Federal Agencies, the prospective clients, the market, competitors, and potential Teaming partners.
- Requires a thorough knowledge of the Federal procurement process.
- Strong and relevant partner network.
- Functional IT understanding within marketplace.
- Experience with CRM tools highly desired (Salesforce)
- Familiarity with Shipley methods or formal capture training is a plus
Salary Range: The proposed salary range for this position is $110,000- $135,000 per year. This range reflects factors such as geographic location, skills, experience, training, certifications, contract-specific affordability, and organizational needs.
