Description

In anticipation of a contract award, we are looking for a curriculum developer who will develop and implement training programs and materials to enhance government and contractor staff learning. 
 
What You'll Do:
 

  •  Develop and implement curriculum strategies and initiatives to meet training goals.
  •  Collaborate with government and contractor subject matter experts, and other curriculum developers, to identify curriculum needs and functional areas to build training for.
  •  Design, write, and update curriculum content for various functional areas and associated subtopics.
  •  Utilize instructional design methodologies such as ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) to create effective learning materials.
  •  Incorporate technology tools and resources into curriculum development, including any available Learning Management Systems (LMS) and/or educational software.
  •  Conduct research and provide updates to senior leadership on best practices in curriculum development and instructional design strategies.
  •  Train and support others in implementing the curriculum effectively.
  •  Evaluate the effectiveness of curriculum materials and make necessary revisions based on said evaluations and feedback.
  •  Present curriculum updates and progress reports to leadership and stakeholders


Must Have Qualifications:
 

  •  Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or physical sciences (e.g., math or physics) is preferred.
  •  Minimum of 5 years of experience in curriculum development or related role.
  •  Strong knowledge of curriculum development and pedagogical best practices for both classroom vs. remote, and synchronous vs. asynchronous training.
  •  Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


Nice to Haves:
 

  • Masters Degree 
  • Classroom teaching experience is highly desirable.
  •  Military Master Training Specialist designation is highly desirable.
  •  Proficiency in using software tools such as Adobe Captivate, Blackboard, or similar platforms.
