Clearance Requirement: DoD NACLC (ability to obtain and maintain); Secret Clearance Preferred

Overview:

As an SAP Supply Functional Consultant, your responsibilities will be to provide experienced business process mentorship and workflow configuration on your client's SAP Supply requirements and design. You will need experience in designing, configuring, and testing business processes and workflows in SAP Supply. Your job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Design and configure business processes, workflows, and/or modules in SAP Supply
  • Test Enterprise Resource Planner (ERP) layouts to ensure the system is meeting organizational needs
  • Design functionality to manage employee workload and warehouse operations
  • Perform sustainment resource and/or work planning and release scheduling activities
  • Resolve functional and technical integration issues across SAP modules
  • Support SAP technical and/or functional upgrades

 

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of SAP experience
  • 3+ years of Navy ERP (SAP) experience within the past 6 years
  • Experience with Navy ERP and U.S. Federal financial management processes.
  • Knowledge and experience in:
    • Knowledge of Navy ERP (SAP) financials postings, requirements, dependencies, and impacts
    • Experience in sustainment resource planning or work planning, and release scheduling activities supporting all of the following: system change requests, defects, customer reported incidents, system upgrades, system performance tuning and role updates and changes
    • Experience in the application of functional and technical expertise to improve the performance of the business; resolution of functional and technical integration issues across SAP modules
    • Experience in development and configuration of various SAP modules, including but not limited to the following: Procurement (PROC), / Material Management (MM), Order Fulfillment (OF), Billing and Allowancing, Supply Chain Management (SCM) (including Forecasting and Supply, Parts, and Demand Planning, FLIRR, etc...), Inventory and Warehouse Management (I&WM), Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S)
    • Experience with SAP technical and/or functional upgrade effort
    • Experience in software development lifecycle surrounding requirements gathering, analysis, design, development, documentation, test (unit, functional, integration, regression, stress, and user acceptance), implementation, and post production support of standard and custom business solutions supporting various SAP modules, such as ECC, BW, SCM, SRM, etc.
    • Knowledge in new emerging technologies such as SAP HANA or equivalent
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • High School Diploma / GED
  • Must have working knowledge of the MS Office suite
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Focus on customer service and responsiveness with sound customer handling skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors’ degree in logistics, supply chain management, business information systems, or other relevant study
  • 10+ years of SAP experience with 7+ years of Navy ERP (SAP) experience within the past 10 years
  • Active Government Clearance (Secret)
